About
ISCoNREM2026
ISCoNREM 2026, the 5th International Summer Course on Natural Resources and Environmental Management Science, is an annual program organized by the Magister Program of Natural Resources and Environmental Management Science, IPB University.
With the theme “Tropics on the Edge: Solving the Triple Planetary Crisis from the Equator,” this program brings together international students, academics, researchers, and experts to explore environmental challenges in tropical ecosystems.
Participants will engage in expert lectures, field visits, community engagement, and cultural activities in Bogor and Sukabumi, Indonesia, while building global networks and collaborative perspectives toward sustainable environmental solutions.

This theme highlights the urgent need to address the interconnected challenges of climate change, biodiversity loss, and pollution through collaborative actions across scientific disciplines, local knowledge systems, and policy perspectives. It emphasizes the strategic role of tropical regions as both highly vulnerable areas and key contributors to global environmental solutions.
